Terms of Sale: Small Claims Filing Pack (Ontario, British Columbia, Alberta)
Last updated: 30 October 2026
1. Who we are
The seller is Noverquis Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales, company number 17521667, registered office 37 Longfellow Way, London SE1 5TB, England. Contact: [email protected].
Noverquis Ltd is not a law firm. It is not a solicitor, barrister, lawyer, paralegal or legal representative in any country, and it is not regulated by the SRA, the BSB, a law society, a bar or any similar body.
2. What you are buying
The "Small Claims Filing Pack: Ontario, British Columbia and Alberta" is a set of nine downloadable documents (templates, worksheets, checklists and guides), described on the product page. It is digital content. It is self-help information, not legal advice. We do not review your facts, we do not tell you what to do in your case, and buying the pack does not create a lawyer-client relationship. The pack does not include the official court or tribunal forms.
3. Who can buy
The pack is written for people in Ontario, British Columbia and Alberta. We do not sell it to residents of Quebec, and it does not cover Quebec law. By buying you confirm that you live in, or are bringing your claim in, Ontario, British Columbia or Alberta, and that you are not buying it as a resident of Quebec. If you buy outside those provinces by mistake, ask for a refund under clause 8.
4. Price, tax and payment
The price is CAD 39, charged once, as shown at checkout. It is the full price you pay. Noverquis Ltd is not registered for VAT, so no VAT is charged. No other tax is added at checkout. Payment is taken by Stripe by card or other methods shown at checkout. We do not see or store your full card number. Your bank or card issuer may charge a currency conversion fee if your card is not in Canadian dollars.
5. How the contract is made and delivered
Your order is an offer to buy. The contract is made when we confirm it by showing you the download page and emailing you a confirmation. After payment you are taken to a download page and sent an email with the download link, normally within a few minutes. Keep a copy of the files. If the email has not arrived within 30 minutes, check your spam folder and then contact us.
6. Your consent to immediate supply
The pack is supplied immediately. Before you pay you will be asked to tick a box confirming that you want immediate access and understand the consequences described in clause 7 (see the checkout wording). If you do not tick it, you cannot buy.
7. Cancelling (change of mind)
Because the pack is digital content supplied straight away, we do not give refunds for a change of mind once you have started to download it. This does not affect any right you have under the law where you live that cannot be waived.
If you have not started to download the files, tell us within 14 days of your order and we will refund you in full.
If a statutory cancellation right applies to you and you have given the consent in clause 6, you accept that it ends when the download starts, to the extent the law that applies to you allows.
8. Faulty files, non-delivery and refunds
We will refund you in full (or, if you prefer, replace the files) if:
- the pack is not delivered, or the files cannot be opened and we cannot fix this within 7 days of you telling us;
- the pack is materially different from its description on the product page; or
- you bought it from outside Ontario, British Columbia and Alberta by mistake.
Contact [email protected] with your order details. We will reply within 5 working days. Refunds are paid to the original payment method, normally within 10 working days of our agreeing the refund.
9. Your use of the pack
You may use the pack for your own claim and for personal or small-business purposes. You may not resell, share publicly or republish it. The pack is copyright of Noverquis Ltd.
10. Limits of the pack and our responsibility
Laws, court rules, forms and fees change. The pack states the date the law was checked (30 October 2026). You are responsible for checking current official sources before you file, and for meeting all time limits that apply to your claim. We cannot promise any outcome, and we are not responsible for the decision of any court or tribunal, for a claim started late, or for the other side not paying.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any rights you have under consumer protection law where you live. Subject to that, our total liability to you in connection with the pack is limited to the price you paid.
11. Your consumer rights
Consumer protection laws in Ontario, British Columbia and Alberta may give you rights that these terms do not remove. If a provision of these terms conflicts with a right you cannot waive, that right prevails. If you want to complain to a regulator, contact your provincial consumer protection office.
12. Complaints
Write to [email protected] with your order details and what you would like us to do. We will acknowledge your complaint within 5 working days and aim to give you a full answer within 30 days. If you are not satisfied you can contact your provincial consumer protection office or, if you paid by card, your card issuer.
13. Privacy
How we use your personal information is set out in our Privacy Notice.
14. Governing law and courts
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. This does not take away the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of the province where you live. Disputes may be brought in the courts of England and Wales, or, if you are a consumer, in the courts of the province where you live where the law gives you that right.
15. Changes
We may update these terms for future orders. The version in force when you order applies to your order.
